- Ballard Pewter, Ltd is family owned and operated. It was founded in 1976 by Neil Ballard.
After apprenticing with Neil for many years, his stepson, John Cannon took over the
business in 1985. Since then John and his wife Lorna Marie have operated the studio
located in beautiful historic Ocean Springs, MS.
We produce top of the line fine pewter featuring creative designs and carvings by John,
Lorna Marie, Neil and Joyce Ballard. In addition to our complete line of pewter we
specialize in custom designs and order. Send us a photograph or drawing of your design
